I prefer the drummer.

Hellllo pretty people! Well, it's freezing cold and blizzarding (it's a word) here in Canada and I've gotta say I'm pretttttty over it. Warm weather would be super welcomed by me, especially since I recently got back from Cuba... -15 degrees is a huge slap in the face once you get used to sunny skies and 35 degree days on the beach (I know, poor me.)
This time of year I always look for reasons to get out of the house, because it's easy to start to feel cooped up when the weather is this gross. One of my favourite things to do is go see live music. Dancing, drinking, meeting cool people, dancing and drinking with cool people... I can't really think of anything better.
Here are some outfits we'd wear to a show:
Winners shirt, French Connection skirt
My dad's a drummer GET IT?
Nine West boots, Club Monaco bag, Ron White necklace
Brandy Melville shirt, American Apparel jeans, Forever 21 jacket
Forever 21 necklace and ring, Clarks booties, hat from a Chapters store
xo, Taylor

PS... if you wanna see some sweet live music, come to Colonel Mustard's in Newmarket on Saturday March 15th to see Sons of Ringo, and then head over to the Horseshoe Tavern on Thursday March 20th to see The Pick Brothers Band! (Here I am casually plugging my dad's band and my boyfriend's band, respectively... just come.)

Golden Globes dress-up.

Hey hey!
(This post was supposed to go up yesterday. Let's just pretend it's still relevant.)
So last night was the Golden Globes, and I totally watched them! (I didn't...) But of course we're taking this opportunity to show you what we might have worn if we had been a part of them! (My invite probably got lost in the mail?)
Gap dress (underneath), Laundry dress
Winners gloves, vintage bracelet, J. Crew belt, vintage bag, Kumari's necklace, Nine West heels
French Connection dress
Aldo heels, BCBG Gemini necklace, Wild Daisy "Can U Not" necklace, Shoppers Drug Mart bracelet

Baby, it's cold outside.

Bundle up, babies! It's -20 outside and I am not lovin' it. At least I can look forward to my trip down south coming up soon! But until then, we'll show you how we're keeping warm.
Mexx sweater, Forever 21 jacket, GAP pants

Donald J Pliner shoes, Tiffany Etoile ring (right), Charlotte Russe ring (leftborrowed from me!), Aldo Accessories earrings, Chapters beanie (the book store!)
Most of this outfit is borrowed from my mom! Also, thanks to my lovely nana for the coat.
American Eagle sweater, GAP dress, Forever 21 coat, shoes and tights I don't even know

Keep warm people! Here are my cosy suggestions:
  • cuddle someone cute
  • drink lots of tea/hot chocolate
  • watch Sherlock and Community for hours
  • listen to Matt Corby
  • wear a onesie
  • eat soup... and pasta... and pizza mmmmm... I'll stop.
Thanks for reading!

All black.

Pretty sure it's a fact that if you want to feel good about yourself all you have to do is wear black.
Forever 21 cropped sweater, American Apparel skirt, H&M socks, Steve Madden boots & clutch
Thanks to Sarah at knowing-s.blogspot.ca for the pictures!

Throw on some all-black and keep on keepin' on like the little punk rocker that ya are!
Thanks for stopping by,

Plaid party.

Okay so. We've been MIA for quite a while and we do apologize,  but we are back with a bunch of new looks to show you! And what better way to start off a string of winter posts than with the cosiest, most winter-y pattern: plaid.
My mom's look is super cozy and cute; she paired this plaid button-down shirt from Joe Fresh with a super-soft shearling coat, a slouchy beanie and matching teal accessories.
Joe Fresh plaid shirt, Dominic Bellissimo shearling coat, Roots socks,  Nine West boots, Banana Republic hat, Anne Klein gloves, vintage belt from Italy
I went for more of an undone but simple look, with the plaid shirt tied around my waist. I accessorized with some gold items, and tied everything together with my favourite beanie and black knee-high socks, which are quickly becoming staples in my outfits this season.
American Apparel dress, American Apparel beanie, H&M knee-highs, Aldo bag, Converse shoes, Fossil watch, Forever 21 necklace
Thank you to Sarah as always for the gorgeous photos! Check out her blog, knowing-s.blogspot.ca, for fashion, art, and life inspiration!

See ya next time babies,
Taylor

Want Boutique

So I'm just going to start off by saying sorry for not posting in a super long time. I wish I could say I've been really busy doing cool stuff, but to be honest... there's just been a lot of Netflix to watch (you understand).
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago we went to go visit our friends at Want Boutique in Richmond Hill, where we got to try on some amazing clothes and hang out with the super sweet staff (woo alliteration!)
If you're ever on the lookout for amazing, unique clothes, gorgeous accessories, and helpful, friendly staff, run don't walk to Want Boutique. I fell in love with the cute, girly decor as well.
Check out Want Boutique for labels like J Brand, Henry & Belle, Wildfox, Citizens of Humanity, Free People, House of Harlow, Sherri Hill, and more.
Heeeeey, Sarah
